I am a Chicago illustrator who works in pen, watercolor, and a format of a digital hybrid.. and most of my work consists of advertising, storyboards, and Children's illustrations. My work is light-hearted and fun... please contact me for work opportunities or just comments! My Website is kjoyce.net
This was created for my editorial class.. we had to choose some entertainment news and a cliche. I chose "worked to death" (I know my interpretation is weak) and the story of Terry Gilliam trying the make Don Quixote for the second time, and failing.. again. I love the story of Don Quixote and really wanted to do something like this for a while... so i thought this would work. I want to let people know I had other plans for this but I messed up my shoulder at work and couldn't do much more with it. It seems like that happens a lot. I go to work and plan on painting when I get home, but someone drops a stroller on me or a little kid pushes me into a shelf and I end up moping with a sore arm. AND WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE RIGHT ONE???
