Issues with templates

Just to let you know I've been having problems with the layout and template of this blog.. I'll continue to try to fix it so I can upload more artwork.  I'm very behind, my apologies.

Wine advertisement

I'm trying to get some more advertising artwork into my portfolio, and I thought this could work for a wine company... I wanted to make a whole series and then put them on bottles and create special packages, but I haven't had time for that.  I still want to create a fake mock cheese company =D

These were created for my boyfriend for our 3-year anniversary this July.  The first piece is supposed to be like from 3 years ago and the last one represents today.  Both were created with pen and watercolor on Cold Press paper .. and not on time. -_-

The rest of this summer I'm going to try dedicating to food advertisement type illustrations. I decided since I love food and I love illustrating food, why not? I'm excited to start soon... or at least as soon as I can sit, back problems are ruining my life.

Helio Storyboards (Name not official?)

     So these are the storyboards for my boyfriend's movie, (Put official Movie title here...).  It's about a man names Jonah who can't be touched by sunlight due to unknown reasons that may be related to a disorder.. not a known detail.  But he's in love with a female mail carrier and recreates her image in drawings and wooden carvings.  He also has an arch nemesis, Johan, the swift and sultry guitar playing Spanish man, who is also trying to win the mail carrier's heart.

These are EXTREMELY rough and I had quick deadlines along with work and being out of town.  it is currently being filmed and I'll let you know when it's finished and ready for viewing!

Also, I apologize for not being on blogspot for several weeks... hopefully I'll upload the rest of my work soon!

For my art history class.  Why? To attempt to recreate animal studies fused with humans... I don't think I took the route I was expected to.. but it was fun.  Creepy? I hope so....

Don Quixote

This was created for my editorial class.. we had to choose some entertainment news and a cliche.  I chose "worked to death" (I know my interpretation is weak) and the story of Terry Gilliam trying the make Don Quixote for the second time, and failing.. again.  I love the story of Don Quixote and really wanted to do something like this for a while... so i thought this would work.  I want to let people know I had other plans for this but I messed up my shoulder at work and couldn't do much more with it.  It seems like that happens a lot.  I go to work and plan on painting when I get home, but someone drops a stroller on me or a little kid pushes me into a shelf and I end up moping with a sore arm.  AND WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE RIGHT ONE???
